A specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Dr. Bonongwe brings specialist training, clinical experience and a strong background in maternal and reproductive healthcare to his leadership of Promenade Medical Centre.
His professional journey includes significant clinical and leadership experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH), Blantyre, one of Malawi's major referral hospitals.

This experience forms an important part of the foundation on which he has built Promenade Medical Centre. Today, as Medical Director, he provides clinical leadership while helping establish the standards, culture and direction of the Centre.
